It had been a few hours since she'd woken up on the side of the road, tossed over a bench like a rag doll. Lisa had checked several times to make sure that she wasn't bleeding, that she wasn't choking on her own air. She had gone into the first building in her way; Heaven's Night. The mirrors were made of a cracked edge with broken pieces that fragmented the reflection but he picture she'd seen was enough to know that she was very much, indeed, alive.
She had surely died there with the white Claudia choking her lungs, hadn't she? Lisa sat back in her chair, eyes cast at the empty stage with its central pole where women would demean themselves for cash. She only stared blankly, feeling a little safe in the magenta lights and home town bar. For her the world seemed to not make sense anymore. Alessa, white claudia, what did it all mean?
All of those people she had met only to be thrown into another section of town by that god awful siren...
Graceful fingers plucked the blood stained hospital memo from her pocket, twirling the pages as she considered the content. It was so unlikely that she had tended to this girl and not remembered her. The face she had in her memories was accurate, the picture had made sure of that, but the time, the day, the everything remained so far in darkness that Lisa could barely tell if it had even happened.
"I'm so lost..." her voice trailed off into the ambiance.
