Lisa, on the outside, is the perfect nurse. She cares for those she takes care of with a kind heart and a loving touch. The nurse understands her duties, taking each one to heart without faltering for her own personal gain. Lisa trusts other people far too much for her own good and in the end gets exploited for it. Her manner reflects that of Altruism; the exact opposite of being selfish. Lisa is not afraid to lay down her life for someone else, she doesn't think about herself first. However, beneath the surface she is an entirely different person. Afraid to be alone, Lisa is dependent on people and (at one point in her life) the White Claudia that Kauffman gave her. She accepts things as they come at her but is terribly afraid of being alone for what is life if you have nobody to share it with?

What Really Happened
"In my restless dreams I see that town, silent hill"
History:
Not much is known about Lisa's family. It is suggested that she grew up in Ashfield, under the care of her parents. The Garlands owned a small pet shop in a complex, Lisa probably worked there in her youth and tended after the pets within. The influence of the animals within the pet shop probably drove her to become a nurse- to help people. Lisa's personality is also shaped from her youth taking care of animals, probably where her kind-hearted nature comes from. She moved to Silent hill to become a nurse in the Alchemilla Hospital, working under the management of the great hospital.
Her boss, Kaufmann, introduced the nurse to a substance called White Claudia. Kaufmann used Lisa, despite her constant trust in him, as a test for the new drug. As was expected, Lisa grew addicted, it seemed that she would do anything just to get some of this drug. Kaufmann not only had living proof of the success of his drug, but also had a willing little slave to do his bidding. Kaufmann set Lisa to tending after a little girl by the name of Alessa Gillespie, who had suffered from severe burn wounds from a house fire. Lisa, unable to decline the offer due to her addiction, accepted.
Burns covered the girl's body, making her facial features highly distorted. Surrounding by the girl's suffering and pain, Lisa grew to be very depressed. Soon she began to rely on the White Claudia too much, sure that the drug was the solution to her sorrows. It wasn't until she began to have hallucinations did Lisa believe something was wrong, that the child was the center of evil and horror.
The nurse pleaded with her boss to be freed from the job but got no sympathy, forced to take care of her. Lisa continued to nurse the girl, wishing to end her pain. Despite her disgust, she could not bring herself to hate or even dislike the girl. Ever faithful, Lisa continued to remain her caretaker. Events in between her nursing Alessa and meeting Harry Mason are blurred. As the true Lisa herself may be already dead her persona is relayed in silent hill as Alessa saw her; a peaceful woman who only longs to help.

Sample Post:
“I won’t do it anymore, I can’t…” she sobbed, feeling the depressing and horror of the girl’s suffering so very close to her heart. It pained the golden-haired angel to see someone in such a horrible state of living. What kept that girl alive? Kept her tethered to this world? She would do anything to see the young girl freed from her cage.
“You don’t have a choice,” a stern male voice spoke out loud, cold and cruel as the woman had never heard him before.
“I promise I won’t tell a soul!” the desperate woman pleaded, eager to get away from the pain-filled child and the horrors around her. Hallucinations were a common thing now. Bugs crawling through the floors of the cracks and crevices around her, a sink that would occasionally lease blood, it was hard to tell if these things were real…or if they were an effect of the precious drug Kaufmann had fed her. The woman would never learn what he was doing to her…not until it was too late. Cold eyes gazed at her emerald jewels, pleading to be cast away from the horrors of that room in the basement.
“Fine…you can leave…” the male voice said and the woman felt her heart skip a beat, “but I won’t be supplying you anymore. We had a deal, did we not? I can’t just let you back out. That’s not how it runs. Either you go without or stay with.”
Those words drove a spike through her kind heart. To live without such a precious material…she knew that she could not do it. But to stay in that room with that poor, poor girl…it was something that she knew she couldn’t do anymore. The words that she wished to utter were so very different from the ones that came from her pale lips. Her whole body seemed to be rigid, skin paler than that of a ghost. Only the cherry red of her lips gave signs of her being alive.
“I…can’t quit,” she sobbed, “as you wish…I will go back,” the woman turned on heel, tears streaming down her pale cheeks in hot trails. There was only the clicking of her heels as she walked down the hallway, down those steps that led her back to her doom, her slavery. Despite all this, pity and love for the girl who hung so close to a life that she could never have filled her pure heart…only to drag her down in the end.
