Originally the idea had been to get out of the rain but somehow she'd gotten drawn into the dusty brown walls and dulled interior of the apartment complex. Still dressed in her work clothes, Lisa had found herself dozing on a bench not to fair from here when the fog had rolled in. Fog so thick that it threatened to choke you if you tried to breathe. The water within the fog had been enough to soak any type of fabric, and draw her here into the incredibly empty apartment building.
Lisa was poking around the personal adds on the wall, her arms crossed over her chest as she tried to fight off the cold and rain that had sunk into her skin and hair. Blond strands decorated the sides of her face, clinging like cold slimy seaweed to those pale cheeks. She looked so lost among those browns and grays, like a small red-shoed girl lost in an unfamiliar world. Within her pocket she still held the photograph of the girl; Alessa, and she secretly found herself searching for that beautiful name among the notes on the wall.
Why was this girl so important to her? Why did she have to find her? Why?
Shaken by her dedication to the unknown child, Lisa's eyes turned over the notices. Alice. Alyssa. Amy. Nothing, there was nothing among these scraps and notes. For once in her life she found frustration building within her chest. Unthinkingly, she reached out to remove the notices that did not contain information on her contact. One. Two. Soon she was standing in a mess of crumpled advertisements and notes, one piece of paper remained on the wall. Holding her breath she took it down and read it.
Nothing. The paper hit the floor with a small smack of paper against a hard surface and Lisa continued to stare at the wall in front of her. This town was messed up, she should want to leave it, but there was something more for her here, something...
